As part of our free Pre-Sale Home Consultation, here are some of the things we offer:
Home ExteriorWe evaluate the exterior of your home and help you decide if the house needs to be painted, or if the gutters and siding need to be replaced. This evaluation also includes mailbox posts, fences, storage sheds, and trim work. We inspect your garage doors, driveway, and deck for any signs of wear and tear. One of the most important features of your home is the front door, and we want to make sure that it is functional and visually appealing. We want to ensure that the first impression the buyer has is the right one.
Its All About the PaintWe help you decide whether to paint the entire house, a few rooms, or to only use touch-up paint where necessary. Instead of painting an entire room, touching up baseboards or worn areas may be sufficient to spruce up the home’s appearance. If the walls are in poor condition, a fresh coat of paint may be the best and most cost effective solution. If you have any strong colors in your house, we always recommend painting them over with a neutral color--not to mention that fresh paint will make a home smell like new.
Deferred MaintenanceWe check any areas for deferred maintenance such as windows with broken seals, paint missing above a door, non-working faucets and showerheads, or non-functioning fireplaces and appliances. We can easily replace any windows and doors.
ModernizeWe can make suggestions to make your home look more modern. For example, if you have brass door handles and brass chandeliers, these should be replaced and we can do that for you, along with replacing any outdated fixtures and appliance switch plates. These small improvements could make a huge impact.

Environmental & Structural DamageWe check the house thoroughly for any scratches, holes, chipped areas, dented walls, water and sun damage, or any environmental and structural issues, like cracked or sinking foundation, which may catch a buyer’s eye. It is very easy to overlook the minor imperfections in the walls and kitchen cabinets when you have been living in a home for a long time; however, these may be very apparent to the first time visitors to your home.
FlooringWe give floors a lot of attention. Carpets show more damage than almost any part of your home and we evaluate if it needs to be replaced or simply deep cleaned. If it is cost effective and would add value as well as esthetic improvement to your home, we may suggest upgrading flooring to a tile, wood, or other more modern material.
Major RemodelingIn order for a home to be sold at a competitive price, it is sometimes necessary to make significant updates. The three most common areas in this case are the kitchen, bathroom and the basement. In our experience, these rooms give the greatest return on an investment when it comes to home remodeling projects.
